The Trees of Chelsea

Join Paul Wood on a guided walk around Chelsea to learn about the area's arboreal history and discover some rare and intriguing trees.
Andrew Roberts

Take some time to get to know the trees of Chelsea and their fascinating history on this special guided tour with Paul Wood.

Paul will show us the site of London's first street trees, precursor to the revolutionary Chelsea Embankment. Encounter an intriguing 'Baobab' plane tree, a rare hybrid strawberry tree, and some famous names to boot.

The tour will start and finish outside the National Army Museum and will last approximately 90 minutes.

The guide will be using the Vox Connect app to facilitate social distancing on this walking tour. We recommend that you download this in advance and bring headphones.
