Description

In this talk, Dr Will Houstoun shares fascinating historical examples of how magicians have adapted their craft to fit a range of technological and societal changes, before offering a unique insight into how conjurers continue to adapt and perform, even during a global pandemic.

Join him to peek behind the curtain and gain a rare insight into the astonishing world of magic. You may even see an example of lockdown legerdemain, pandemic prestidigitation or Covid conjuring along the way!

Will Houstoun has a PhD in Magic History as well as a Literary Fellowship from The Academy of Magical Arts in Los Angeles. He is the Magician in Residence at the Royal College of Music and Imperial College London. He is also a Member of the Inner Magic Circle and a past winner of The European Magic Championships.
