Description

Bletchley Park is arguably one of the most famous locations in the world of code breaking. It was here that the famed Enigma code was deciphered and the course of the Second World War altered.

What began as a small operation eventually evolved into a large ‘industrial’ organisation. But keeping this constantly adapting agency working proved to be a puzzle in itself.

In this exciting talk, Dr Thomas Cheetham will uncover little-known stories of the hard work, rivalry, teamwork, and ingenuity behind the success of Britain’s Second World War codebreaking agency.

About the speaker

Dr Thomas Cheetham is a research officer at Bletchley Park.
