Join us for a special recital to commemorate the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven. This is a drop-in event, but you must book a free general admission ticket to the National Army Museum to attend.

Description

Award-winning musicians Nick Pritchard and William Vann join forces on the outdoor stage at the National Army Museum for a special recital to commemorate the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven.

Nick was the winner of the 2017 Whatsonstage Opera Poll award for Breakthrough Artist in UK Opera. Will is the Director of Music at the Royal Hospital Chelsea and a critically-acclaimed song pianist and conductor.

The programme includes two of Beethoven’s masterpieces of song-writing: the cycle An die Ferne Geliebte (To the Distant Beloved) and Adelaide, alongside other songs by Haydn, Mozart and Schubert.
